How to become a membeR OF Lake Waramaug

  • All Candidates

    • Every candidate for any class of membership must fill out an application form and submit it to the Membership Committee. An application form can be acquired through a member.

  • Family Membership

    • Every candidate for Family Membership must be at least thirty five (35) years old on April 1 of any year, and either

      1. Proposed and seconded in writing by two Equity Family Members in good standing who are not then serving on the Membership Committee, and supported by as many letters of recommendation from other Members in good standing as may be prescribed by the Membership Committee from time to time.
  • Intermediate Membership

    • Every candidate for Intermediate Membership must be less than thirty-five (35) years old on April 1 of the year they are proposed, but more than twenty-four (24) years old on such date, must be proposed and seconded in writing by two Members in good standing who are LWS Stockholders and who are not then serving on the Membership Committee, and must be supported by as many letters of recommendation from other Members in good standing as may be prescribed by the Membership Committee from time to time.

  • Junior Membership

    • Every candidate for Junior Membership must be at least twenty-four (24) years old on April 1 of the year they are proposed, but not more than thirty (30) years old, unmarried and the son or daughter of a Family Member in good standing.
